It is now mandatory for all gold manufacturers, operators, & traders to use a 6-digit HUID BIS mark on their products. This mark can only be obtained through BIS certification, which denotes transparency & trust of consumers while purchasing gold. Using HUID is crucial for all BIS-registered jewelers since April 1, 2023.
