2Obtain the Left Half of the Secret Medallion, which can be Obtained on the Mountaintop of the Giants. In order to do this, you will need to travel to the Mountaintop of the Giants. You can find The Left Half hanging around in the air not too far from where their ethereal feet are located.3You will be able to access the Hidden Path that leads to the Haligtree if you make use of the Secret Medallion. This path leads to the Haligtree. In place of the action that came before it, you should now raise the Secret Medallion so that you can ascend the lift that will take you to the Hidden Path to the Haligtree. It is expected that the players will be able to leave this area once they have finished all of the activities that are necessary for this section, at which point they will be able to move on to the Consecrated Snowfield. Once they find the Map Fragment, which can be found underneath the standard monolith that the majority of the Fragments are under, it thankfully becomes less intimidating. The Map Fragment can be found a little bit to the north of the entrance leading out into the Snowfield. You'll find the monolith a short distance to the north of the door that leads out into the Snowfield.

This part of the process is referred to as Step #TaskDescription1 in the procedure

• The player must make their way through the section of the town that is inhabited by what can only be described as ghosts in order to reach the Evergaol

• When one gets closer to the Evergaol, the specters that were previously seen are no longer specters, and instead, the region is infested with invisible Black Knife Assassins and Albinauric Archers on mounts

• You should keep moving northward along the same route of rooftops until you reach an additional Ghostflame Torch, which should be visible on the right

• The first thing you need to do is jump down and then hop over that column

• After that, you need to jump up onto the roof, and then the next thing you need to do is head straight ahead and jump up onto the roof that is slightly higher

In spite of the fact that there is a plethora of ways to both defeat this foe and make them visible (otherwise known as making use of the Sentrys Torch), it is absolutely necessary that you either avoid or defeat this assassin in order to light the final candle. This can be accomplished by using the Sentrys Torch. It is possible to locate Malenia in its current location (granted, quite a distance below it), but it is still possible to locate it in this location. This part of the process is referred to as Step #TaskDescription1 in the procedure.  When you have crossed to the other side, you will be able to move forward into the area that is beyond that point. If you want to go inside the building that looks like a cathedral, you should either be prepared to fight the Cleanrot Knight or come up with a way to get past him. Either way, you should be prepared to do so. Continue moving forward until you reach a short flight of stairs that leads a bit down and a dead body that is lying on a broken guardrail. After reaching this point, turn around and head back the way you came. To enter the structure, first ascend the ladder that leads back up to the Erdtree Avatar, and then get ready to dash through it and the enemies that are guarding the building behind it. The process of going back up the ladder that leads to the Erdtree Avatar. Continue to follow the branch until it brings the Tarnished to solid ground, and then continue to follow that solid ground forward until they are forced to cross a small body of rot-infested liquid.

After that, continue to follow the solid ground forward until they are forced to cross the rot-infested liquid. On the other side of this body of water, there should be another branch that can be walked on that heads in a direction that is roughly southwesterly. The Tarnished are able to use this branch. Climb to the very top of this second branch, and then continue straight ahead into the brightly lit entrance. They will then be able to descend onto the flying buttress once they have accomplished this task. You need to keep going in this direction for a short distance until you come to a small branch that will take you from one flying buttress to the next. The Haligtree Roots Site of Grace, which is the last Site of Grace before you enter Malenia's arena, should be directly in front of you when you exit the elevator. The players have now arrived at Malenia, the most challenging boss in the game, having successfully navigated their way there. This includes the Consecrated Snowfield, the Miquellas Haligtree, and Elphael, as well as the chambers that are the last stop before reaching Malenia herself.
