A locked door that prevents access to the rest of the cave can be found within Sellia Hideaway, which is a hidden location in Elden Ring. Players are required to complete a quest in order to proceed.
Even though many of cheap Elden Ring Runes PC's secret areas are concealed in the Lands Between's most inconspicuous nooks and crannies, some of Elden Ring's secret locations are so well hidden that they are almost impossible to miss. Although it is likely that players will stumble upon a number of these hidden locations on their own, Merchants also sell notes that provide hints about some of these locations and lead players to interesting out-of-the-way locations.
The player learns about one of these locations, the Sellia Hideaway, from a note that was purchased from a vendor. Players are tasked with locating Master Lusat, who can be located on the lower levels of the dungeon, as part of the questline that is given by Sorceress Sellen. It is not difficult to enter the Sellia Hideaway; however, passing the seal that is blocking the entrance to the caves that are deeper underground is a bit more difficult.
Where exactly is the Hideaway of Sellia?
- The Sellia Hideaway can be found atop the Sellia neighborhood in the Town of Sorcery
- The Sellia Backstreets are a Site of Lost Grace that can be found in the top-right corner of the town
- You can find this corner by heading in a direction that is practically straight forward from the north entrance
- You will need to travel through almost the entire town of Sellia in order to reach the north entrance from the south gate
To reach the top of the cliff that towers over Sellia, head to this Lost Grace and then climb the winding path that is just beyond the room. As you travel along this road, you will notice a graveyard to your left; proceed into the graveyard and make your way through Elden Ring Runes PC for sale, dodging the zombies that appear along the way, until you reach the end. A large grave marker creates the illusion that there is a regular cliff behind it; however, this is just an optical illusion.
How to Break Through the Locked Door of the Sellia Hideaway
There is a door that is sealed deep within the dungeon of the Sellia Hideaway, very similar to the seal that can be found outside the Academy of Raya Lucaria. You have to make progress through Sorceress Sellen's questline before you can open this seal. Within the Waypoint Ruins, which are located to the east of Lake Agheel, players will have their first encounter with Sellen. After some time has passed, the Sorcerer Azur will appear to the players just to the north of the Hermit Village on Mount Gelmir.
A group of sorcerers and a Demi-Human Queen can be found to the north of the Hermit Village. After passing through this group of enemies, players will find a sort of ledge that leads higher up Mount Gelmir. However, to the left of this bridge is where one can find the still figure of the Sorcerer Azur. After interacting with this NPC, you will need to go back to Sellen in order to obtain the key that will unlock the Sellia Hideaway door. A second powerful master sorcerer, Master Lusat, can be found just beyond the seal, and Sellen is determined to find him.
The Location of the Elden Ring Sellia Hideaway and Where to Find It
The Sellia Hideaway can be found on the northern side of the Church of Plague in the Caelid Region, close to the region's eastern border. From the Church of the Plague Site of Grace, head north up the hill, and once you reach the top, go straight beneath the wooden arch. This will bring you to the entrance. Keep an eye out to the northeast for a graveyard that's being guarded by a single sorcerer foe who's armed with a staff and a club. You can uncover a hidden entrance along the cliffside behind the largest tombstone by rolling or hitting the illusory rock wall. This entrance can be found behind the tombstone. Make sure to equip a torch so that you can see your foes from a distance and illuminate the darker areas that are inside the building.
The Location of the Elden Ring Sellia Hideaway and How to Get There
After entering the Sellia Hideaway, you will need to interact with the Site of Grace and then continue forward until you come to a crossroads with two different paths, one leading to the left and the other to the right. You can kill and loot two Sorcerer Miners if you take the path on the left, which leads to a dead end. Return to the intersection, scavenge the body to obtain a Golden Rune 3, and then strike the wall behind the body to open the door to the next section of the path. There is a Sorcerer Miner hidden behind this illusory wall, and another illusory wall can be found at the end of the tunnel. After passing through these illusory walls, you will come to a large cavern filled with enormous purple crystals. You'll find another Sorcerer Miner if you take the path to the right, then you'll need to traverse some crystals and take the path to the left to get to the next miner, who is located close to a dead body that's holding a Golden Rune. Jumping above the crystals to the southeast will get you back to where we started. Once you've done that, cross the large crystal once more and head to the right this time.
You will come across an even more obnoxious Sorcerer Miner that you have to eliminate as quickly as possible. After you have vanquished him, instead of jumping over the chasm where the Crystal Snails are located, take the path that leads eastward. First descend onto the shorter crystal, then leap onto the longer crystal, and finally descend into the pit from there. Remove the seal using the Sellian Sealbreaker Key, then speak to Lusat. He will give you the Stars of Ruin Sorcery in exchange for your cooperation. You will be confronted by a Royal Revenant if you turn around and step over the crystal in the southwest. After you have vanquished him, explore the area around him and loot the bodies to obtain Stimulating Boluses, a Golden Rune 5, and Lost Ashes of War. You'll find a Somber Smithing Stone 4 on the dead body that's at the top of the tunnel if you turn around and head back in the direction of the Silver Fireflies. There will be three Crystal Snails waiting for you when you reach the bottom of the crystal at the end of the path. After you have vanquished them, continue down the path to the left while staying close to the wall, and you will come across two more Sorcerer Miners who are sitting by the fire. After you have finished cleaning up the area, proceed to loot the body to obtain four different glowstones. After you have jumped across to the other side, proceed into the tunnel in the northwest, passing the Stake of Marika on your way. After entering the large crystal cave, you will need to climb up and over the boulders and rubble while staying close to the right wall. You will walk past two large crystal shards that are rising from the floor on your left, with the third being at an angle that is good enough for you to climb upon it (remember this crystal because we will return to it after we have collected some loot).
When you have finished passing these three enormous crystals, continue down the slope and keep going right until you reach a body that is holding three sets of preserving boluses. The Crystal Spear is hidden inside of a chest that can be accessed through an illusion that can be found behind this dead body. Go back to the crystal that we were discussing earlier and work your way to the top of it. First, descend on the crystal that is directly below the one you are standing on. After that, descend on the crystal that will lead you to the hidden room. After descending into the pit, you will arrive at a room that is currently occupied by three Glintstone Sorcerers. Gain access to the Crystalian Ashes by vanquishing the Glintstone Sorcerers and opening the chest they guard. There is only one way out of this area; you must travel through the tunnel, defeat the Sorcerer Miner, and then descend. When you leave this area and head in a northeasterly direction, you will end up back in the room where you climbed the crystal shards.
The only thing that can be found here is a dead body that has ten Crystal Darts on it and a couple of Crystal Snails that need to be eliminated. You will encounter many Crystal Snails on the way to the boss room if you head in the southwest direction. Some of them will try to ambush you from the roof of the building. You will face the Putrid Crystalians, the bosses of the Sellia Hideaway, behind the mist wall. Upon being hit, they will cause Scarlet Rot to spread throughout your body. It is strongly recommended that you make use of Summoning Ashes throughout this fight in order to prevent at least one of the three bosses from focusing their attention on you. When you have successfully defeated all three of them, you will receive 7100 Runes as well as the Crystal Torrent Sorcery as a reward.
