Andariel, the Maiden of Anguish is a common target for players who are interested in farming in Diablo II: Resurrected Patch 2.5 and Ladder Season 2. In Act One, she has a beautiful antechamber that opens up into a tastefully decorated Throne Room that is located at the very bottom of the Catacombs. Her one-of-a-kind charm cannot be denied; however, this is not the primary reason that we frequently pay her a visit. The Step-by-Step Guide to Andariel Farming in Diablo II: Resurrected

There are a few tips and tricks that can help you farm Andariel more efficiently. We get to her Throne Room by going down from the Catacombs 2 waypoint, then going through Catacombs 3, and finally finding the stairs that lead down to Catacombs 4, which is her level. When you first appear on Catacombs 2, you are going to want to take what is sometimes referred to as the right shoulder approach. This is the strategy that will give you the best chance of success. You could also think of it as moving in the opposite direction of the clock. This is almost always the quickest way to get to the stairs leading down to Catacombs 3, so you should take it. There are multiple possible layouts for the stage, but the stairs can be found more quickly than elsewhere in the level if you leave the starting area and head in the direction directly to the right.

The only pattern that has been found for Catacombs 3 is the fact that the stairs leading down are almost always on an edge. Other than that, no patterns have been found. Simply head in a certain direction, locate the boundary, and clockwise navigate the area. Teleporting or using Enigma would be very helpful in this situation. You will eventually locate the stairs that lead down to Catacombs 4, so don't worry about that. The entrances to the Throne room can be found at the very top of the Antechamber. Before you pull Andariel, who will be directly ahead of you, it is strongly recommended that you clear the area to the left and right first, especially if there are Elites in the vicinity. A fight that might normally be straightforward becomes a lot more entertaining when one of the Elite packs casts an aura and the other casts a curse on you and your minion. Because there is a possibility of finding at least three Elite Packs in the Throne Room, it is important to proceed with some degree of caution.

Andariel herself is straightforward. Be wary of her poison, and if you have the ability to do so, try to prevent her from casting  by disrupting the line of sight between you and her target.
