make the most of his first All-Star experience. On Wednesday, he learned that he would be the starting third baseman for the National League in the 2023 All-Star Game, set for July 16 at Globe Life Field in Arlington. Just two days later, Bohm revealed that he would also take part in the T-Mobile Home Run Derby, held the night before the All-Star Game. Reflecting on the experience, Bohm said, "As a kid, the Home Run Derby was always something I looked forward to watching. It's a cool event, and I'm excited to be a part of it." Although not known for his power, Bohm has certainly shown he can hit for some pop. He set a career-high with 20 homers last season and has already hit 11 this year. Still, he admitted that the chance to compete in the Derby was too good to pass up: "I told myself Bake Mcbride Jersey, 'I may never get this chance again,' so I decided to go for it." When asked about his approach, Bohm said, "I’m not going to be trying to hit homers all the time. In the game, I’m just focused on making solid contact, but for the Derby, I’ll focus on hitting it out over the left-field fence. It’s a different kind of swing than what I use during a game, but I’m not worried about it messing up my normal swing. It’s just a short round of batting practice where I’m trying to hit some homers." Bohm also shared that his former Coastal Plain League coach, Scott Wingo, will be the one throwing to him. Wingo, who coached Bohm in 2016 when he played in the CPL, was the one who threw to Bohm when he won the league's Home Run Derby that summer Juan Samuel Jersey. "I reached out to him, and he said he wasn’t too busy, so he’s excited to be part of it again," Bohm added.
